Aldershot Methodist Church
A warm welcome is extended to all visitors, friends and neighbours who are worshipping with us today.
Parents with young children are welcome to sit on the carpet during the service. Alternatively, there are toys in the room next to the foyer, where the service can also be heard over the sound system.
It is our custom to light a candle five minutes before the service commences to signal the beginning of a period of quiet to enable members of the congregation to prepare themselves for worship.

Do you believe and trust in God the Father?
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
Do you believe and trust in God the Son?
I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again, he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come again to judge the living and the dead.
Do you believe and trust in God the Holy Spirit?
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Let us pray.
Generous God, touch us again with the fire of your Spirit and renew in us all the grace of our Baptism; that we may profess the one true faith and live in love and unity with all who are baptized into Christ. Amen.
